2. Veterinary Telehealth & Clinical Disclaimer
No Doctor-Patient Relationship with Pevio: Pevio is not a veterinary hospital, clinic, or medical treatment provider. The contract for clinical consultation is established solely and directly between the pet parent and the independent, certified veterinary practitioner conducting the consultation.
Telehealth Scope & Emergency Exclusions: Teleconsultations facilitated over video or audio are intended for preliminary triage, general animal wellness, nutrition planning, non-critical second opinions, and post-procedural reviews. Telemedicine cannot substitute hands-on clinical examination, diagnostic palpation, auscultation, radiology, or blood pathology.
3. Pet Pharmacy & Prescription Dispensing Disclaimer
Pevio is not a pharmacy and does not engage in direct drug compounding or retail dispensing of scheduled pharmaceutical substances.
- All prescription-controlled veterinary medicines are verified and dispensed strictly by licensed retail pharmacies in India in accordance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and rules thereunder.
- Prescriptions uploaded by users are subjected to professional validation by registered chemists. Pevio and its pharmacy partners reserve the absolute right to decline fulfillment of orders backed by fraudulent, forged, altered, or expired prescriptions.
4. Nutritional & General Product Information
Product specifications, feeding charts, dietary descriptions, and informational guides published across the Pevio website or application are provided for general educational purposes. They do not constitute formal veterinary clinical advice. Always consult a qualified veterinary doctor prior to modifying your pet's therapeutic diet or introducing concentrated nutritional supplements.
