1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Pet Parent", or "Customer") and Pevio Private Limited. By registering, accessing, downloading, or using our website, mobile application, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms, please refrain from using the Platform.

2. Nature of Platform & Intermediary Role

Pevio operates as a technology facilitator and digital intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000:

• Veterinary Teleconsultation: Pevio provides a software interface connecting users with independent, licensed veterinary doctors. Pevio itself does not provide veterinary medical treatment or diagnosis. Consulting veterinarians exercise independent professional clinical judgment.
• Pet Pharmacy & Regulated Products: Pevio does not own or operate a retail pharmacy. All prescription medications and scheduled substances are verified and dispensed by third-party licensed pharmacies holding valid drug retail licenses under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
• Pet Supplies & Essentials: Pevio facilitates the listing, ordering, and delivery of authentic pet food, accessories, and wellness goods sourced from authorized distributors and manufacturers.

3. User Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information (name, email, phone number, address, and pet details).
• Verify your mobile number via One-Time Password (OTP) transmitted securely via our SMS partner Fast2SMS.
• Grant location permissions when prompted to enable our riders to complete 24-hour local deliveries to your doorstep in Ghazipur and Varanasi.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your mobile OTP, account login credentials, and devices.
• Promptly notify Pevio in case of unauthorized account access.
• Refrain from using the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities.

5. Orders, Payment Modes & 24-Hour Delivery

• Payment Modes: We accept payments through two modes: (1) Online Payment (UPI, Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking via authorized payment gateways) and (2) Cash on Delivery (COD) upon doorstep arrival.
• Serviceable Cities & Delivery Timeline: Pevio currently serves customers in Ghazipur and Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). All accepted orders are delivered within 24 hours from when the order was placed.
• Order Cancellation Window: A customer may cancel their order free of charge after placing it until the order is accepted by our team. Once the order reaches "Accepted" status, our 24-hour fulfillment and packaging pipeline begins, and direct cancellation is closed.
• Post-Delivery Support Tickets & Refunds: Once the order is accepted, the customer receives the delivery and may raise a support ticket directly via the app for reasons including wrong item, damaged item, or any other genuine reason. Pevio's support team reviews the ticket, calls the customer within 24 hours, and processes eligible refunds within 1 to 3 business days.
• Prescription Verification: Orders containing prescription medicines remain on hold until verified by licensed partner chemists against a valid prescription.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, logos, brand assets, UI designs, code, graphics, and textual content on this website and mobile application are the exclusive intellectual property of Pevio Private Limited. Unauthorized copying, modification, decompilation, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Pevio Private Limited, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, third-party courier delays, or the clinical outcome of independent veterinary consultations.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties shall endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably. If unresolved, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
